We do not claim Norway is a safe jurisdiction, because it is not one. Norway takes part in international intelligence cooperation, and we will not pretend otherwise.

Our privacy does not come from where the association sits. It comes from collecting almost nothing. What does not exist cannot be handed over, subpoenaed, leaked or sold.

Dignity, not just privacy

Privacy is the technique. Dignity is the reason. We treat the person at the other end of the screen as a human being to be protected, not a resource to be harvested. That is the whole point, and it is why the promises above can never be traded away.
